Cboe select sector index options

Does anyone know why the Cboe Select Sector Index Options aren't accepted by traders? I find the concept appealing but can't get myself to trade the products given the lack of liquidity at fair market prices. The new index options will offer investors across the globe new ways to efficiently incorporate US sector investing strategies into their portfolios. CBOE Select Sector Index options are designed to provide simple, straightforward market exposure to widely followed US equity sectors represented in the S&P 500.
